PTA AGM Minutes

Present:

Simon Brabant, Susan Goodfellow, Vicky Connelly, Rachel Thompson, Alice Heywood, Genevieve Spencer, Kelly Salt, David Mower (Poppy’s Grandad), Emmie Bland, Helen Hollows, Jen Elvish, Anna Peter.

Re-elected Members:

Chair – Emmie Bland. Nominated by Genevieve Spencer, seconded by Simon Brabant.
Vice Chair – Kelly Salt. Nominated by Simon Brabant, seconded by Genevieve Spencer.
Secretary- Kate Stonehouse. Nominated by Susan Goodfellow, seconded by Kelly Salt.
Treasurer- Alice Heywood. To take over from Lucy Scott. Nominated by Alice Heywood, seconded by Simon Brabant.

Current Funds:

£3397.66 plus £260 cash. Total £3657.66.

Monies Raised:

An email to be sent out detailing a breakdown of how much each fundraising event has made.

Fund Raising Aims:

A new roof for the leaky conservatory. Quotes are needed in order for a target to be set.

Fund Raising Events:

• School Lottery to be re-advertised.
• Friday 24th Nov: Bag2school collection.
• Colour run postponed until summer.
• Friday 1
st Dec: Christmas Lights Switch-on.
• Saturday 2nd Dec: Christmas Fair.
• Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th Dec: Christmas Performance.

Fund Raising Ideas:

Greeting Cards: David Mower (Poppy’s Grandad) has produced beautiful pieces of wildlife artwork which will be printed into cards. He has very kindly offered to donate profit from cards sold, to school funds. Cards to be advertised on the school FB page and sold at school events and village shop.
Square Raffle: To be re-introduced for the chance to win luxury prizes!
Letters to local businesses asking for donations/experiences.
PTA Donation Box: For anyone who is unable to offer help or attend events but would like to contribute.
Christmas Jumper: Pre-loved Christmas jumpers to be donated and re-sold.
Christmas Jumper Day at school.
Wreath Making: To be held at school or Heron Hall.
Additional wreaths or wreath-making kits could be sold at the Christmas Fayre.
Christmas Film Night: Movie to be shown after school for children to attend. Hotdogs/hot chocolate for sale.
