Lancaster Singing Festival

Class 4 are attending the Lancaster School’s Singing Festival on Wednesday 26th March.

The concert will take place at 1.00 pm at the Ashton Hall (rear entrance of The Town Hall, Lancaster) and finish at 2.15 pm. If you would like to watch the concert, please reply to this email so we can allocate the correct number of tickets. The tickets are £4 each. Entry to the concert is 1 ticket (in the form of the programme) per person – including babies – and can only be purchased via school. This is to comply with the Ashton Hall’s strict fire regulations. Children taking part in the concert do not require a ticket. Transport for the children to and from the venue has been arranged. However, if you would like to take your child home after the concert, please let me know.

For one of the songs, the children will need an instrument made from recycled materials for example a yoghurt pot, toilet roll, cereal box, plastic milk bottle etc. Please can your child bring in the instrument on Monday 24th March. The children and I are really looking forward to the festival! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Many thanks,

Laura Gibson
