Class 1 Summer Ball 22nd May
As part of our Castles and Knights topic, we will have a Summer Ball in Class 1. This will take place on Wednesday 22nd May during the afternoon. We will have our banquet lunch at 12.15 pm followed by traditional, fun activities including dancing, games and some further surprises.
The option for school lunches is packed lunch only for Class 1 that day. They will need to order this via SchoolHub or bring a packed lunch in from home. We will be baking and adding a couple of extras to our banquet.
We would like your child to dress up for the Ball. They could bring this from home if they have something that they would like to wear, or we do have plenty of outfits that can be borrowed from school. Please do not buy anything. Your child needs to come to school in their usual school clothes in the morning and they can change into their fancy dress costumes before eating their lunch. Ideas could be party clothes, princess dresses, prince costumes, knights, dragons, jesters, kings, queens etc.
After lunch, we will be having games, dancing and other activities. I am sure that the children will be very excited about our Summer extravaganza!
