Dear Parents
Class 1 will be visiting the Cumbria Safari Zoo in Dalton on Thursday 21st of September. We will be travelling by minibus, leaving school just after 9 am and will be returning before 3.15 pm.
Your child can wear their own clothes (no skirts or dresses) but with a school jumper or cardigan please, along with comfy shoes eg trainers. If it is wet wellies or walking boots will need to be worn. Please provide your child’s car seat (if possible).
Please either order your child’s packed lunch through School Hub or provide your child with a homemade one and also send any snacks and drinks, hungry and thirsty children are not happy children!
Your child will need to bring a small rucksack to carry during the day, a waterproof coat, plus waterproof trousers if the weather is wet, and suncream if the weather is still hot and sunny! A spare set of underwear/trousers just in case, plus travel sickness medication if required (please give this to me to look after for the return journey).
We are asking for a £5 contribution towards the cost of this trip, which can be paid via BACs or cash. If you are happy for your child to come on the trip, please return the permission slip below as soon as possible.
