Cross Bay Walk
The date for our Cross Bay Walk is approaching. This is a 3-hour walk (5-8 miles) across the sands, from Arnside to Grange, led by the official Guide over the Sands, Michael Wilson. We set off from Arnside prom at 1.30 pm on Sunday 14th May. Registration is from 12.30 pm.
We are hoping to raise a substantial amount of money from this walk to put towards a new roof on our conservatory, so we are asking for a donation of £15/adult, £8/child (u16) and £5/dog – we will have sponsorship forms available (and if you manage to raise more funds via sponsorship that would be excellent!).
Susan Goodfellow will be collating a list of list entries, so please contact her to book your place on sgoodfellow@storth.cumbria.sch.uk. Places will be confirmed once we have received payment for them, these places are limited and therefore will be on a first come first served basis, we will not be able to reserve spaces without payment. Payment can be made via BACS to the school PTA account 40-33-28 31007637, or cash in an envelope into the office.
The Cross Bay Walk is a great experience and should be a really sociable afternoon.
