School Closure
As you are well aware, the Government have decided that schools will be closed from tomorrow for all children bar key worker children and learning will be switched online. An extremely frustrating scenario all round.
Despite the school being open to key worker children, I need to stress the importance of only using the school as an absolute last resort as the situation seems to be worsening by the day and home is the safest possible place for everyone.
To keep the risk to staff and the other children to a minimum, we will not be offering breakfast or after school, club unless absolutely necessary and by prior arrangement. The roll-out of the new hot school meals will have to be delayed too (please cancel any orders you may have made) and we will be packed lunches only.
If you are intending to send you children to school, could you please let me know as soon as you can so staffing can be arranged appropriately.
I really do hope we can get back to being a school again as soon as we are allowed, but for now, we must all do our upmost to help stop the spread.
