Christmas Tree Lights and Carols 2nd December at 6pm

We are beginning to get ourselves wound up for Christmas!! It’s all full-on excitement from this week onwards.

On Monday 2nd December we will be switching on the Storth Village Christmas Tree lights at 6 pm. Everyone in the village and the wider community are very welcome to come along to school, enjoy some mince pies and mulled wine before we switch the lights on and sing some carols. There will also be an extremely amazing collection of things in school too which you will be very welcome to look at and may never, ever get a chance to see again………… Come along if you want to know more!

Tuesday 3rd December Sam Ansell will be making reindeers with the children in preparation for the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 7th. There will be the usual fun, frolics and festive ‘fantasticness’ with turkey buns and lots more mulled wine; along with singing and general Christmas cheer. If you can help with a stall then please put your name down on the list in the conservatory.

Before this, the children are performing at Milnthorpe’s Christmas at the Cross Keys. We are due to perform at 11:00 am and there will be a free minibus running from school to get any children that want to go to represent the school at this brilliant event. The bus will leave school at 10:40 am and will return as soon as we have finished, in time for our own Christmas Fayre. You are very welcome to come along yourselves, but if you would prefer to help set up in school whilst your child sings, then please feel free to put them on the bus! There are 15 spaces available.

Please remember that it is the PTA Wreath making at 7 pm on Thursday 5th December.

Any questions, then please feel free to see me at any time.

Christmas wishes,

Simon Brabant
